This is the world's only tablet leather case which comes with a build-in 2.5" SATA hard disk case that can be used with any 7" tablet/MID which supports USB host/OTG, e.g. SmartDevices SmartQ V5, V7, etc.

Note: Almost all china/chinese made Android tablets support USB host/OTG.

Standard USB OTG port can only supply 100mA of current. Making it impossible to connect and power up a standard USB 2.5" hard disk, which needs at least 1000mA to spin up and about 500mA to maintain operation. To get around this issue, this external leather hard disk case comes with its own build-in 2800mAh lithium battery which is used to power the 2.5" hard disk for 3-10 hours.

In addition, you can use the this device as an external battery pack to charge your mobile phone, mp3, mp4, ipod, iphone, ipad, tablet, etc.... via USB port.

Furthermore, the USB cable is build-in which means you don't have to worry about carrying a USB cable around.
